Schultz & Wiremu Fabric Effects is a family-run business that has been creating fabric effects for Film and Theatre since 1983.
After working as teachers and technicians at Chelsea School of Art and being asked to complete two prestigious Print and Dye jobs for the Royal Opera House, Miriam Schultz and Kevin Wiremu decided to open their own Studio in Greenwich. They later moved to Deptford and have been there ever since.
Miriam and Kevin have successfully completed many varied projects in the entertainment industry. These include working on numerous major films and for leading theatre, opera and ballet companies worldwide, as well as for West End and Broadway musical theatre productions.
Together with their children, Pearl, Louis and Rudi, they are a rare resource who dye, print and paint fabric professionally for set and costume in their own studio.
With their hands-on expertise in this specialist area and their comprehensive knowledge of the materials needed, Miriam and Kevin have put together a wide-ranging selection of trusted products.
